Applies to: all Road Gear affiliates, referrers, and their teams (Levels 1–4)

Our program pays only on verified purchases by non-affiliate customers. We don’t pay for recruiting, sign-ups, or internal orders. To protect customers, creators, and the brand, affiliates must follow this Code.

1) Honesty & Transparency

  • Disclose clearly when you earn a commission. Place simple language before or next to any link/code.
    • Example: “I may earn a commission from Road Gear if you buy through my link/code.”
  • No income claims. Don’t promise results (e.g., “quit your job,” “$10k/month”).
  • Truthful pricing. No fake “retail” prices, timers, or scarcity you can’t substantiate.
  • Use real experiences and honest opinions in content and reviews.

2) Sales-Only Compensation (No Recruitment Pay)

  • Commissions and overrides are paid only on customer purchases.
  • No bonuses for sign-ups, kits, or internal purchases.
  • Self-purchases and orders for your household or other affiliates do not qualify.

3) Brand Use & Assets

  • Use Road Gear logos, photos, and copy as provided; do not alter logos or create confusing look-alikes.
  • Don’t impersonate Road Gear (e.g., page names “Road Gear Official”).
  • Obtain written approval for custom merch, domains, or co-branding.

4) Advertising Rules

Paid search & social

  • No bidding on our trademarks or close misspellings (e.g., “Road Gear,” “RoadGear”).
  • No direct-linking ads to our checkout unless we approve. Send traffic to your content or allowed landing pages.
  • Ads must comply with platform policies and local laws.

Email/SMS

  • Only message people who opted in to hear from you.
  • Include your contact info and an easy unsubscribe.
  • No purchased lists, spam, or cold SMS blasts.

SEO/Content

  • No domain squatting (e.g., roadgear-discounts.com).
  • No cookie stuffing, hidden iframes, forced clicks, or toolbars/extensions that auto-apply codes.

Marketplaces & resale

  • Affiliates may not list or resell Road Gear products on Amazon, eBay, Walmart, or other marketplaces without written approval.

5) Claims & Safety

  • Product claims: stick to published specs. Don’t claim certifications or compliance we haven’t stated.
  • Safety: never show or instruct unsafe load securement. Follow DOT/federal/state guidance for demonstrations.
  • No medical/health claims.
  • No misleading “official partner” language unless we’ve provided it.

6) Content Standards

  • No hate speech, harassment, illegal activity, or adult/NSFW content alongside Road Gear promotions.
  • No fake engagement (bots, engagement pods, fake reviews).
  • Disclose any material connections (free gear, sponsorships) in addition to affiliate commissions.

7) Coupons & Promotions

  • Use only your assigned codes and live promotions we announce.
  • Don’t advertise expired codes or larger discounts than we’ve authorized.
  • No stacking with unauthorized coupons or rebate sites without permission.

8) Data & Privacy

  • Don’t collect, store, or transmit customers’ payment data.
  • Protect any personal data you handle and follow applicable privacy laws.
  • Do not scrape or export data from our portal except via provided reports.

9) Quality & Coaching (Overrides)

  • If you refer new affiliates (Level 1), you’re expected to coach ethical selling (clear disclosure, safe demonstrations, no spam).
  • Overrides can be withheld or clawed back if your team’s sales violate this Code.

10) Monitoring, Audits & Consequences

  • We may review content, traffic sources, and orders at any time.
  • Violations can result in withheld commissions, clawbacks, suspension, or termination.
  • Serious violations (fraud, deception, safety risks) may lead to immediate termination.

11) How to Stay Compliant (Quick Checklist)

  • Put disclosure before the link/code.
  • Promote real customer sales, not sign-ups.
  • Use approved assets; don’t impersonate the brand.
  • No brand-term PPC, spam, or fake scarcity.
  • Show safe, correct product use.
  • Keep proof of your posts and traffic sources for 12 months.
